This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Contact the office that created or holds the record for those actions.
Nolan Sheriff and Jail
The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office is the first contact for current Nolan County custody, a specific jail booking record, and a formal Open Records request. The Sheriff does not accept open-records requests by telephone. Requests should name the person, date range, agency, and the record sought.
Use the Sheriff’s Open Records page for its current mail, fax, email, and in-person instructions. The current Sheriff site gives a fax number that differs from a county directory entry, so confirm it before sending a request.
Where to Direct a Question
Choose the route by the record and custody state, not by an old image or a page result.
- For a mugshot, booking record, recent admit, or current jail search, use the Nolan official roster and records path.
- For a current warrant direction or public wanted listing, use Sheriff’s Most Wanted and the Sheriff’s non-emergency line.
- For a release alert or activity notice, use Citizen Connect’s official roster, Daily Report, and alerts rather than a third-party index.
- For a Sweetwater incident report, contact the Sweetwater records route; for Roscoe or Blackwell, ask the local city contact to route a written request to the proper custodian.
- For a state prisoner, use the Texas Department of Criminal Justice offender-information route.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator that covers that separate system.
